A statement from the Gateway Cafe Team
As you may be aware the Government made an announcement last night surrounding the rules and regulations of the hospitality industry. Therefore, Gateway would like to update you on all of our control measures in place so that you know what to expect.
All staff members will be wearing face masks (unless they have a medical exemption)
All customers are required to wear a face mask to enter our premises, the mask must be kept on until seated. Once seated the customer may remove their mask (unless they have a medical exemption)
All customers are required to wear a face mask to use the toilet facilities and when walking around the café (unless they have a medical exemption)
All customers will be required to leave their contact details either through the NHS Track and Trace app by scanning the QR code upon entry OR through a paper form, that needs to be filled out and returned to a member of staff.
All customers must wait at the front door before being guided by a member of staff to a table.
We are operating an online ordering service only (or table service if required) – customers should only be walking around the café when arriving or leaving or using the facilities.
In addition to the above, we will continue to carry out a high level of cleaning using the recommended products in line with the Public Health England guidelines.
